Chalnow account and data deletion
You control your Chalnow account. You can permanently delete it inside the app, or request deletion here without reinstalling Chalnow.
Delete inside Chalnow
- Sign in to Chalnow.
- Open Profile on the website or Account in the mobile app.
- Choose Delete my account.
- Step 1: Review what will be deleted and choose Continue to confirmation. Nothing is deleted at this step.
- Step 2: Type DELETE, then choose Permanently delete account. You can choose Keep account instead.
Self-service deletion is unavailable while any of your one-on-one or community challenges are active. You must finish the full challenge period, not just today’s check-in. The server checks this again before deletion begins. If you need privacy or deletion assistance during a challenge, contact support using the option below.
Deletion begins only after the final confirmation. Pending invitations you created are removed with your account.
Request deletion without the app
Email us from the address used for your Chalnow account. Put “Chalnow account deletion request” in the subject. We will verify that you own the account before processing the request.
What is deleted
Your authentication account, profile, challenges, invitations, check-ins, proof uploads, virtual-balance entries, and support messages linked to the account are permanently deleted. This cannot be undone.
Limited retention
We may retain only the minimum information reasonably required for security, fraud prevention, dispute resolution, or legal compliance. Any retained record is not used to operate an active Chalnow account.
